Nov 2, 2006 5:48 PM

ABI Research this week said in a report that the market for radio-frequency identification (RFID) solutions deployed by aerospace and defense companies will exceed $2 billion by 2011. He further described RFID as an “enabling technology that can facilitate a shift from corrective to predictive maintenance strategies.”
