Companies partner on videoconferencing in emergency vehicles

Avistar Communications Corp. is collaborating with Emergency Vehicle Solutions, an emergency vehicle equipment supplier, to install Avistar’s C3 videoconferencing technology into vehicles. The C3 is a software solution that delivers multi-party videoconferencing using off-the-shelf computer hardware. It runs on mobile computers fitted within emergency-service vehicles and is supported by wireless network connectivity, according to the company.
