Comtech subsidiary lands $5.3 million Air Force contract

Comtech Telecommunications Corp.’s Tempe, Ariz.-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., was awarded a $5.3 million contract from the U.S. Air Force for the software-defined-programmable High Data Rate Radio Frequency Ground Modem. The modem will provide high-data-rate capabilities on next-generation Wideband Global Satcom satellites, according to the company.
