FreeWave releases wireless spread spectrum radio

FreeWave Technologies released its FGR2-IOS wireless spread spectrum radio. The radio provides wireless long range, remote control and monitoring of tanks, lifting stations, pumps, flow meters and other systems used by oil and gas companies as well as utilities. According to the company, it delivers data from remote analog and digital devices over a wireless link to a remote terminal unit or programmable logic controller.
