FreeWave unveils 900 MHz radio

Washington, D.C.-based FreeWave Technologies announced the MM2 900 MHz radio, a wireless-spread spectrum radio with a small form factor suited for advanced military equipment where space is at a premium, such as unmanned aerial vehicles, robotics and guided-parachute applications. The radio measures 50.8 mm (length) x 31.5 mm (width) x 9.6 mm (height) and offers 128-bit AES encryption, according to the company.
