Itronix unveils rugged tablet PC

Itronix unveiled the Duo-Touch II, a ruggedized tablet PC. It includes multiple integrated wireless technologies, including support for EDGE, GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, EV-DO, 802.11 a/g/n, Bluetooth,and GPS networks. It also supports up to three RF modems and GPS. It meets MIL-HDBK-87213 Rev A military standard for electronically generated airborne (cockpit) displays for direct sunlight and costs $3,595.
