Companies partner on video surveillance, mesh network

Houston-based LenSec, a provider of citywide, IP-based video surveillance solutions, is teaming with wireless-mesh-networks developer Firetide to offer video surveillance solutions to government entities. The combined solution will blend IP-video-surveillance solutions, surveillance cameras and wireless networks. LenSec will offer the solution directly to cities, counties, educational institutions and other entities, according to the company.
