Mar 24, 2008 3:01 PM, - MRT

New Energy Technologies unveiled the wireless NETwrkz Starter Kit, a portable wireless public safety interoperable communications platform. The kit supports Internet, VoIP, video and data communications using BelAir Networks’ wireless broadband technology. It includes four of BelAir’s wireless mesh nodes, mounting tripods, generators, a server, wireless video cameras, a wireless phone bridge and a CDMA or GPRS cellular modem. It supports Wi-Fi and WiMAX, as well as the 4.4 GHz, 4.9 GHz and 5.9 GHz bands—or a combination of these frequencies—on a single network, according to the company.
