In Motion, Physio-Control wirelessly transmit patient data

Aug 1, 2008 10:01 AM, - MRT

In Motion Technology announced that emergency medical personnel in vehicles equipped with its onboard Mobile Gateway and Physio-Control’s LIFEPAK 12 defibrillator/monitor now can wirelessly transmit a patient’s cardiac information from the field to hospital care teams. Data transfer is supported by the LIFENET STEMI Management Solution, a web-based system that lets emergency personnel transmit patient data to hospital-based care teams via the Internet. The gateway is installed in emergency vehicles to create a vehicle area network that provides connectivity for on-board data communications
