Savi’s RFID solution deployed in peacekeeping mission

The Polish Ministry of Defense is deploying Savi’s radio frequency identification-based Consignment Management Solution to track and manage military supplies in support of NATO peacekeeping efforts in Afghanistan. The system provides near- real-time location information on supplies through a network of RFID readers that are wirelessly linked to decision-support software, the company said.
