School districts deploy WLAN for Internet access

Meru Networks’ Wireless LAN System has been deployed by several school districts across the U.S. For example, Rush-Henrietta Central School District is a K-12 school district located in Henrietta, N.Y. that used the system to deploy a wireless network districtwide to serve 6,000 students, 650 faculty and 550 staff. Mona Shores, a K-12 school district in Muskegon, Mich., also deployed the system across its district that has 4,300 students, 225 teachers and 550 employees. Finally, the Hilton Central School District of Hilton, N.Y., is deploying the system to deliver Internet access to its 4,600 students.
