Siemens updates its 802.11n solution

Siemens Communications launched a new version of its HiPath Wireless 802.11n solution. The solution leverages multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) technology and complies with the 802.3a Power-over Ethernet standard, according to the company. It features two 802.11n HiPath wireless access points and a new version of its wireless convergence software that lets controllers recognize and manage 802.11n access points. It also includes the HiPath wireless manager that delivers security for 802.11n-enabled networks.
