SightLogix announced today that its mobile and fixed-position automated, outdoor video-surveillance system has been selected to participate in Operation Golden Phoenix 2008, to be held July 21-24. The four-day exercise—led by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection, the San Diego County, the city of San Diego and the U.S. Marine Corps Aircraft Group-46—is designed to illustrate cooperative command, communications and logistical capabilities between participating local, state and federal agencies, which will join military assets to demonstrate a coordinated, multi-agency, humanitarian aid response.
