Government agencies sign up for SMART

More than 230 government agencies have signed up for Satellite Mutual Aid Radio Talkgroups, or SMART, offered by Mobile Satellite Ventures, the company announced. The talkgroups support push-to-talk, interoperable communications among homeland security officials, law enforcement, emergency responders, and public safety officials from across the United States.
