U.S. Army uses mobile computer to combat improvised explosives

Symbol Technologies completed a $10 million product and services order for the U.S. Army’s Counter Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) initiative. The company’s MC70 mobile computers were used as part of the Counter IED system, which focuses on technologies that can detect remote, improvised explosive devices or roadside bombs.
