TracStar provides satellite communications to earthquake victims

Orlando, Fla.-based TracStar announced that it provided satellite communications antenna systems to emergency response organizations in China’s earthquake stricken Sichuan region. The company’s portable Quick Deploy Satellite Earth Station supported voice, video and data communications in areas were communications infrastructure was damaged. A technical team also was sent to the region to help deploy the technology, the company said.
