Mobile radios in the TM-800 series operate in the 136 to 174 MHz (VHF), 400 to 470 MHz and 450 to 512 MHz (UHF) frequency ranges and offer RF power outputs of 50 watts and 25 watts (VHF) or 45 watts and 25 watts (UHF), according to the company. The radios have a 256-channel capacity, dynamic zoning and meet military standards.
