NetMotion reports 183 new customers

Dec 15, 2005 4:33 PM

Seattle-based NetMotion Wireless yesterday announced it added 183 new customers during the first nine months of 2005, resulting in the company realizing 91% revenue growth compared to the same period in 2004.

NetMotion’s new customers include Jacksonville Electric Authority and Suncor Energy. More than 700 businesses have deployed Mobility XE, NetMotion’s mobile VPN solution.

"More and more large enterprises are looking for a solution that can keep up with their mobile security needs, which evolve as they add applications and mobile workers to their deployments,” NetMotion Wireless CEO Bob Hunsberger said in a prepared statement. “The increase in sales over the past year shows that we are meeting their requirements."
