Dataradio offers leasing option

Mar 31, 2004 12:00 PM

Dataradio announced during IWCE 2004 that it has partnered with First Capital Equipment Leasing Corp. to offer customers a leasing option for its mobile private wireless communications systems. The company is targeting government agencies that often find themselves in a cash-strapped position. According to First Capital, a $25,000 appropriation via the leasing program would enable a municipality to deploy equipment worth $100,000 to $125,000. In addition, Dataradio announced the availability of the BasePac digital wireless base station, which is designed to extend coverage for the company’s MobilPac II in-vehicle wireless data modem.
