Public-safety communications interoperability conference set

The Utah Communications Agency Network will host on Jan. 22, 2004 a conference that will address methods to efficiently utilize public-safety spectrum and encourage interoperability. Sponsored by the federal Smartcom program, the conference will include discussions on spectrum management and interoperability strategies. Presentations and panel discussions will feature representatives from local, state and federal agencies. There is no fee for attending, but registration ends on Jan. 15, 2004.
