Altobridge offers remote communications suite

Altobridge launched its Remote Contiguous Communications Unit for first responders. It is a suitcase-sized communications suite that combines cellular and satellite technology to restore communication between first responders and other key emergency resources, such as police, fire and EMS. According to the company, calls made are converted to an Internet Protocol stream that is transmitted via satellite and received by the handset through an existing network provider or another public or private network.
