TriTech Software Systems announced the implementation of its VisiCAD Command and VisiNet Mobile solutions at Santa Barbara (Calif.) County’s Public Safety Dispatch Center, operated by Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department. VisiCAD Command is a computer-aided dispatch solution and VisiNet Mobile is a wireless PC-based mobile fleet application. According to the company, the two systems bridge the communication gap between dispatch and the field, supporting real-time sharing of incident information as well as patient and criminal records data. VisiNet Mobile extends CAD information to in-vehicle computers and supports messaging between units and dispatch, while also providing real-time access to state and federal databases, according to the company.
