California county upgrades 9-1-1 systems

The Monterey County, Calif., Emergency Communications Department has selected NICE Systems’ products to capture emergency radio and 9-1-1 communications at its consolidated 9-1-1 center in Salinas, Calif. The county’s system will include a NiceLog, which will replace the existing Dictaphone Freedom recording system, according to the company.
