Catalyst unveils Total Control Package

Radio-control-over-IP provider Catalyst Communications unveiled release 5.0 of its Total Control Package, including its interoperability server and the ability to route radio voice traffic between IP networks. The new version integrates a public-safety agency’s existing network firewalls and network address translation devices, which lets voice communications from first-responder radio system to transmit between proprietary radio systems using existing IP networks, according to the company.
