Coast Guard invests in wireless maritime solution

Jericho, N.Y.-based Griffon Corp. announced that its electronic information and communication systems subsidiary has been awarded a five-year, $3.7 million contract from the U.S. Coast Guard for Submersible TruLink Wireless Intercommunication Systems. The system delivers voice communications in high-noise environments and operates at submergence depths of up to 20 feet, according to the company.
