Companies partner to develop digital radio technologies

Industry players Icom Inc., parent company of Icom America, and wireless protocol software developer Etherstack have signed a long-term memorandum of understanding to develop digital radio technologies. The two companies already have signed a joint contract for an undisclosed project, which includes researchers from Icom’s Osaka, Japan headquarters and Etherstack’s Sydney, Australia and London, UK design centers.
