Ericsson partners with Stanford on distance learning program

Plano, Texas-based Ericsson announced that it is collaborating with Stanford University to explore the use of mobile technologies—smart phones equipped with video cameras, audio recorders and Internet capability—to support distance e-learning. The company will work with the university’s International Outreach Program to bring distance learning to countries in Africa, the company said.
