Oregon first-responders upgrade to mesh network

Wireless Integrator Invictus Networks and mobile-broadband, mesh-network solutions provider BelAir Networks designed and deployed a next-generation, public-safety network in Beaverton, Oregon. Police officers now can access the city’s network and the Portland police data system through a remote application while in their patrol cars. They also can wirelessly access real-time mug shots and digitized fingerprints, according to the companies.
