FreeWave announces spread-spectrum radio

FreeWave Technologies unveiled the 3400SMR, a board-level, wireless, spread-spectrum radio designed for the 3.3 to 3.5 GHz band. The radio has 20-mile range, 350 KHz occupied bandwidth with hopping patterns selectable in 25 MHz zones, a single-frequency capability and a temperature operating range of between -40 to +75 degrees C.
