Software lets remote access data, administrators to delete it

Nov 10, 2006 1:04 PM

Internet software developer Kerio Technologies released a new version of its MailServer software that offers Direct Push e-mail for Windows Mobile smart phones and PDAs. The new version lets enterprise users wirelessly synchronize e-mail messages, calendar data, contacts and tasks in a MailServer account that is accessible by any Windows Mobile-based device. It also supports Remote Wipe, which lets administrators delete data from a particular smart phone linked to a company mail server, according to Kerio.
