Marine Corps awards $211 million contract

Harris Corp. has announced that its radio frequency communications division in Rochester, N.Y., has won a $211 million contract from the U.S. Marine Corps to supply radio equipment over the next three years. The contract calls for the company to supply two tactical hand-held radios, 14,141 dual-vehicle adapters and 28,282 antennas. The work will be completed in June 2010.
