Motorola wins Taiwan-based TETRA contract

Motorola has won a contract from Marubeni Corp. in Taipei, Taiwan, for a TETRA digital-radio communications system to be deployed at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport rail transit network. The system consists of the company’s TETRA technology hardware, software, services and maintenance together with its Dimetra IP system that allows for higher data speeds to support the integration of advanced mobile data solutions, according to the company.
