Raytheon completes testing of naval communications system

Raytheon completed testing of its Navy multiband terminal satellite communications system, used for submarine, shore-based and shipboard terminals for the transformational satellite communications (SATCOM) component of the U.S. Navy. Tests validated the company’s extended data rate waveform that performs network and point-to-point, anti-jam communications at throughputs of up to 8 Mb/s, according to Raytheon.
