Salt Lake City-based Parvus Corp. won a contract from General Dynamics Amphibious Systems for the design of a tactical switch router (TSR) for the U.S. Marine Corps’ expeditionary fighting vehicle. The TSR incorporates the company’s DuraMAR Mobile IP router product, which is a rugged off-the-shelf router system that integrates Cisco System’s 3200 series wireless and mobile router technology. The IP networking solution supports secure data, voice and video communications to stationary and mobile network nodes across wired and wireless networks, according to Parvus.
