Positron announces Florida deployment

Positron Public Safety Systems announced that Broward Sheriff’s Office in Broward County, Fla., upgraded to Next Generation E911 services via the company’s Voice over Internet Protocol for Emergency Response solution set. The system delivers E911 call handling using an industry-standard, open Internet protocol as the sole carrier of voice and data. It will be deployed across the county’s 13 public safety answering points, according to the company.
