Positron lands $7 million contract

Positron Public Safety Systems won a 10-year, $7 million contract from Stanislaus County, Calif., to install, service and maintain its new public-safety communication system. The company will provide its computer-aided dispatch and record management solutions for the county’s regional 911 center, which supports 2700 users, 300 mobile data devices and 36 dispatch units.
