Missouri agencies launch Spacenet, Orbital Data Net satellite services

Spacenet announced that its satellite services have been deployed as part of an emergency response network for the Missouri Hospital Association and Missouri Department of Transportation. The networks will be deployed and managed by Orbital Data Net to provide high-speed satellite-based links to support data and voice communications in the case of a disaster or terrestrial connectivity failure. The agencies are using both fixed and transportable satellite services, according to the companies.
