IP-based network used for interoperability at the Super Bowl

M/A-COM’s IP-based VIDA network technology was deployed for interoperable public-safety communications before, during and after Super Bowl XLI at Dolphin Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla. Agencies using the system included the Miami-Dade County Police Department, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Miami-Dade County Fire Department, the Florida Highway Patrol, the Broward County Sheriff’s Department, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
