Tactical radio for military personnel unveiled

Harris Corp. introduced the RF-7800M-MP, a multi-band, tactical radio designed for battlefield networking. The radio provides secure voice and high-speed networked data services with up to 20 watts of output power over the 30 MHz to 2 GHz frequencies. In addition, it runs narrowband and wideband waveforms off a single military battery. A vehicular amplifier adapter, the RF-7800M-VA, is available to boost power to 50 watts, according to the company.
