TETRA IP-based switch hits market

Motorola released Dimetra IP Compact, an IP-based switch for Terrestrial Trunked Radio private network customers. Users can start with a basic voice system and upgrade to multi-slot packet data, offering a 28.8 kbps gross data transfer, according to the company.
