Fuel industry vendor invests in EV-DO

Ruggedized wireless modem developer BlueTree Wireless Data announced its products will be deployed by Canada-based Trican, a manufacturer of pressure-pumping devices for oil and natural gas reserve exploration. BlueTree’s 1xRTT and evolution-data optimized, or EV-DO, modem products will be used to support wireless field service products now under development.
