PlantCML upgrades emergency notification system
PlantCML, an EADS North America company, announced a new self-registration portal for its emergency notification system, dubbed The Communicator NXT. The portal lets people sign up to automatically receive emergency alerts—such as dangerous weather and security threats—and non-emergency communications, and lets organization capture vital information such as telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.
Also, Plant CML said that Tazewell County, Fla., has upgraded its public-safety answering point by replacing its legacy systems with the company’s Sentinel Patriot call-processing solution and Aurora management information system. Finally, the company said that the city of Richardson, Texas, would deploy its CORP25 digital radio system that is compliant with the Project 25 standard. Previously, the city had deployed PlantCML’s call processing, management information, mapping and emergency notification systems.
