From DSL Reports: Speaking last week at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, Sprint CEO Dan Hesse that "competition will be stifled, growth will be stifled and wireless innovation will be jeopardized," is AT&T's planned takeover of T-Mobile is allowed to happen, noting that the deal could put 80% of all wireless revenues into the pockets of just two carriers. Hesse also insisted the deal was problematic in that both AT&T and Verizon prefer a closed mobile ecosystem with plenty of walled gardens and exclusives. "We just can’t let this happen," Hesse said.
