EFJohnson receives $2.8 million in DOD orders

EFJ Inc. subsidiary EFJohnson has announced two U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) orders for Project 25 radios and accessories totaling $2.8 million.

On Feb. 3, the company said it received a $1.8 million DOD order as part of an existing relationship. On Feb. 7, EFJohnson announced a $1 million order with a new DOD customer.

“This is a new customer for us within the Department of Defense,” EFJ Chairman and CEO Michael Jalbert said in a prepared statement regarding the $1 million order. “For over 60 years EFJohnson has worked with our military on their communication needs and we are proud to assist our armed forces in keeping our country safe.”
