Dec 16, 2004 6:18 PM

The Florida Statewide Law Enforcement Radio System (SLERS) is now operating statewide, according to M/A-COM, which developed, installed and operates the system. The 800 MHz systems provides radio coverage over 98% of the state and its waters up to 25 miles from shore, and links first responders across 13 state agencies, M/A-COM said. M/A-COM was awarded the SLERS contract in 2000.
