Intelligent Systems announces RFID solution for retailers

Intelligent Systems has unveiled a set of intelligent radio frequency identification networking hardware and software offerings, allowing retailers to deploy item-level tracking solutions.

Using as few as one reader, the new solution suite can support hundreds to thousands of antennas, expanding the possibilities for retail store operations. The solution reduces the number of required electronic parts by building antennas into standard fixtures (new or retrofit). Retailers can track what products are selling, when inventory is low and what items have been have been misplaced or stolen.
