NEDAP RFID solution selected for European taxi management system

A radio frequency identification (RFID) system developed by Netherlands-based NEDAP N.V will be installed at London’s Heathrow Airport by taxi company BAA. The system, which will be installed by Steria, NEDAP’s partner based in the United Kingdom, is expected to improve BAA’s ability to monitor and dispatch taxis to meet customer demand. The system replaces a PC-based system. Steria previously installed a similar system at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.
