Honeywell Building Solutions announced it has contracted with Wayne County Public Schools, one of the largest school systems in southeastern North Carolina, to provide its Honeywell Instant Alert for Schools system. An automated notification and communication service, Honeywell Instant Alert will enable the district to instantly deliver both emergency and non-emergency messages to parents and guardians of approximately 19,000 K-12 students via phone, cell, pager, e-mail or PDA, the company said.
