TIBCO Software, Alien Technology in RFID integration partnership

TIBCO Software and Alien Technology have announced a technology partnership to provide a business context to radio frequency identification (RFID)-generated information. Raw RFID data collected by Alien’s tags and readers will be processed using TIBCO’s business integration and optimization software. Then goal is to help companies track and trace inventory and shorten order fulfillment processes across systems and organizations, according to the companies.
