Jan 28, 2008 12:16 PM, - MRT

Belden launched a line of indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi enclosures for the company’s XtraThin access points. The BWIE-100 is a 14 x 10 x 4-inch indoor enclosure constructed of UV-stabilized ABS resin, a copolymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene heat- and stain-resistant plastic. The BWOE-100 is a 14 x 12 x 7-inch outdoor enclosure constructed of fiberglass-reinforced polyester with stainless steel latches and includes a Power-over-Ethernet interface. The enclosures are NEMA-rated, RoHS compliant and protect against tampering, theft and environmental damage to the wireless APs installed in remote locations, according to the company.
